My first prayers, and the ones that belonged to me well into my early adult years, were words given to me by the religion I was born into. I had no personal understanding of the power and mystery of prayer until I found my own language to connect with Spirit, Source, God.  What I understand now is that there is no finish line for learning about prayer, meditation, contemplative practices, and spiritual development.

The most important part of my work as a Prayer Chaplain, is to continue to grow myself in prayer and share that growth with those with whom I pray. I connect with Sacred Energy before every contact made and welcome the words that are shared from that Source … always positive and affirming. I am blessed to be part of a community where prayer is an active and integral component of faith formation.
