Who We Are

Who We Are

Unity is a positive, practical, progressive approach to Spirituality, based on the teachings of Jesus and other masters and the power of prayer. Unity honors the universal truths in all religions and respects each individual’s right to choose a spiritual path.

“We are all here for a single purpose: to grow in wisdom and to learn to love better. We can do this through losing as well as through winning, by having and by not having, by succeeding or by failing. All we need to do is to show up openhearted for class.”

~ Rachel Naomi Remen, MD, Kitchen Table Wisdom

We are all friends here.
There are no strangers once you walk inside this door.
We welcome you to linger in our family of love, and hold you in our hearts the way you are.

Our Mission Statment:

Crystal Coast Unity is a Spiritual home for God-Realization through Prayer, Celebration, and Service.

Crystal Coast Unity’s Five Foundational Principles

Principle 1
There is only one ultimate Power in the Universe and in our lives. That power is God and its nature is absolute, unchanging good.
The gift of this principle is FAITH.

Principle 2
Human beings are created from Absolute Good and so our inherent nature is also good. We call the inherent goodness of human nature The Christ.
The gift of this principle is SELF-ESTEEM.

Principle 3
Our thoughts are our creative power. Whatever we persistently focus our thoughts and feelings upon manifests in our lives.
The gift of this principle is PERSONAL EMPOWERMENT.

Principle 4
Prayer and meditation are essential elements of the spiritual life because they focus our thoughts on our Oneness with God & all creation.
The gift of this principle is SELF-MASTERY

Principle 5
It is not enough to know the Truth; we must put that Truth into action in our lives. We must live the Truth we know.
The gift of this principle is INTEGRITY.

Unity emphasizes the importance of applying spiritual principles in our daily lives.

Unity teachings continue to evolve as we identify, embrace and apply spiritual insights and the spiritual implications of new discoveries.
